No Place Like It

HOME
In the gorgeous Willamette Valley, in the lovely countryside, a mile from my parents and childhood home, 20 minutes from my sisters, near family and friends, a couple miles from town, less than an hour from three large cities, an hour or two from the coast, mountains, and desert... I don't think it gets any better than that.

Home is a name, a word, it is a strong one; stronger than magician ever spoke, or spirit ever answered to, in the strongest conjuration.

You are awful...I just found LibraryThing via your blog..let's just say it's 12:28 am and I should be sleeping...LOL! Very addicting...I'm up to cataloging 58 books so far, got a ways to go... but I need to sleep--I'm torn! :)

LOL, Mrs. Q. I entered a bunch of books and then got bogged down. And I've bought tons of books since then. I've been meaning to get back to entering, but it seems there have been other things on the priority list. :) One of these days... It is addicting once you get started, though, isn't it?

You're so right... home is a wonderful place, and yours is absolutely beautiful! I love stopping by here, I always leave feeling encouraged and restored.
(I also took your recommendation for the All Around family and ordered it from Amazon- so sweet! We just started reading it last night and I can't wait for bedtime to read some more:-)
