Friends

Friends

Twenty years ago, a friendship began. Char and I met in highschool and became fast friends. We have been through so much over the past two decades, but our friendship is still priceless to us both. We married two guys (within months of each other) who happened to be best friends, live just a couple miles apart, our children are the same ages, and we are both homeschooling! I love watching the friendships develop between our kiddos.

Monet is privileged to be the princess among a pack of boys. Don't let the pink fool you, though. She's a tough one, and loves to get dirty along with the guys.

It's fun to see the 'Rose' among the Thorns, so to speak with ~sweet girl on red chair~! It looks great in the tall grass setting!

I'm a new reader and now totally in love with your blog. It's so pretty and I just love reading about life in the country...and kids. I wish for those soon but before that happens I'm living vicariously through others. Haha.

About her being the only girl...in my experience that will give her edge. It sure will give her a healthy sense of independence, confidence and self-worth. I would know. I was raised in seas of men and I grew up thinking I could walk on fire unscathed. :)
