Oh, how I wish I could take photos of my Levi like this! Absolutely STUNNING!

So, I've been visiting your blog for some time now. I have been so spellbound by many of your photos! So now I'm going to finally break down and ask: I've been in search for a better camera. Though I know that a good camera will NOT solve my problem with being a novice photographer, I want to give myself at least a better chance at getting a good shot. (And what type of editing software to you use (if you do)?)

Your photos are captivating. I just love bouncing over here from time to time! Thanks for sharing and so glad you had a fun day with the kiddos! :)

Blessings!

Hi, Brandy!

I'm technically challenged, so the job of picking out the camera went to my husband. :) I have a Nikon D90. I use Photoshop, but I don't really know how to use it (technically challenged, remember), so I have purchased Photoshop 'actions.' (I've heard Lightroom is less expensive and more intuitive, but I didn't feel up to learning one more thing!!) After processing in Photoshop, I upload photos to Picnik.com, which I LOVE. It is so easy to use, inexpensive, and has so many features. That is where I do some editing (mostly touch-ups or cloning out stuff), make collages or add borders, add text, resize, sharpen, and save to Flickr. It has been a learning process over the course of years... one little step at a time. :)
