17 minutes well spent. Thank you again, Sir Ken Robinson.

The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew.

Heidi-this was a great presentation! Thanks for sharing it. I continually struggle with the lack of education in our school systems. I admire your deliberate approach to a better life!!
You are the second person to post this today -- it was posted by Mind in the Making's FB page, so you're in good company :)
Now, just have to wait for Other Half to get home from his elder's meeting so we can watch it together...
I'm so glad to hear an articulate speaker share the truth of the differences in people. It has been one of the greatest surprises of my mothering experience to realize that my two sons are so different in skills, talents, personality and tastes that even my most cherished principles are being challenged. It only stands to reason that educating them will require more than a formulaic approach. Thank you for sharing this, Heidi.
Loved it Heidi. Gee, quite a bit different than our current gov's idea of education eh? I think we are doing exactly what he is talking about.
Thank you! That was fantastic. I'm so inspired and have renewed passion about our home school decision.
What a great talk! So glad you shared.
I really really really like this man! :)
