Favorite?

I have a million things to be doing today, so I’m on the computer editing pictures. Not just editing, but experimenting, which is even less productive. I can’t stop messing with this picture of Lola even though she isn’t even looking at the camera. I just like the mood of it, I guess. Which edit do you like best?

Just for fun, here are three more edits of a picture I posted yesterday:

  1. I like #5, love the haze that adds to the softness of her skin and rosy cheeks but doesn't take away detail! Love her pink lips too!!

I been following your blog awhile, I am a CC mom and photographer too. Thought it was about time I said hello!

(I use mainly snaps on my personal blogger page lol I feel like I should have some kind of disclaimer that I don't edit every photo or take only "portrait worthy" photos. That the mommy in me takes snapshots! Do you feel that way?)

  2. It's nice to meet you, Kara! Thanks for commenting. #5 is my favorite, also. :)

I do struggle with posting snapshots on my blog. Not necessarily because I don't want it to reflect badly on my photography business (which isn't really a business, ha!), but because I'm so picky about photos. That is so bad, though, because I don't get pictures of everyday life (or occasions that happen in poor lighting or with bad backgrounds). Sometimes I wish I could see more with mommy eyes and less with lazy perfectionist eyes. (Which are critical, but not dedicated enough to spend the time and effort to increase my skills, ha!)

  7. Hello Heidi, I love peeping in at your world. I've been a reader for quite some time now.

I like number 7 and then the third in the second group. But if I had to choose just one to frame then I don't know how I'd ever make a choice. They're all beautfiul!!

    Kathleen.
