Those are really wonderful!
Really nice photos!!
I love those, and i enjoy your site. I do not have a blog myself. Could you email me and tell me how you did these. I have three little ones that I would love to do this for. Thanks for inspiring me. Kathy Murraymurrayk5@comcast.net
Kathy~ The silhouette photos are actually very simple. I prefer to do them when the sunset is particularly colorful. Simply place your child with the sunset/lightsource directly behind them, with their face perpendicular to yours so you get their exact profile. (It helps to give them something specific to look at, since kids have a hard time understanding that you don't want them to look at you or the camera, and they need to hold still.) Crouch down so that there is nothing behind their head but sky (make sure the horizon is below their neck or what ever part of their body you are trying to silhouette... whole body silhouettes are fun, too). Focus on their head and snap away. :) If you have a way to edit the image afterwards, I would recommend increasing the contrast (which will help make their profile darker) and increasing the color saturation if you want vivid color behind them.
These are amazing. Seriously stunning -- i love them!
It's really cool. I am also fond of silhouettes. The truth is I simply download and use for work. That's the way the site where I take them http://charts.poweredtemplate.com/powerpoint-diagrams-charts/ppt-powerpoint-silhouette/0/index.html.
