New York and Egypt, Too!

I know that Russ loves me very much. He consented to ride the roller coaster (pictured below) by my side. What a blast to ride in the cold night air, illuminated by the dizzy, crazy lights of Las Vegas.
Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me.

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!

of the (real) Statue of Liberty.)
Inside the casino:

Isn't the New York City skyline beautiful?

Let's walk a block and visit Egypt while we're at it:

I wonder where we'll travel next?!

More great photos! Awesome!

I can't wait to see the images you captured at the Bellagio... it is my favorite place in Vegas. :)

Having never spent any time in Las Vegas, I am really enjoying the tour you're treating us all to! Thanks for sharing, it looks like you're having a wonderful time!

It's funny. A couple years ago we vacationed a few days out in Lake Las Vegas. On our last day, we decided to detour thru Las Vegas the city to show the boys all the cool stuff - volcanoes, pyramids, Caesar's Palace, lions & tigers oh my!!! We thought it would be the cat's pajamas to top off a nice few days away. Good golly, if they didn't whine and drag their feet, and yes - CRY! - wondering when we were going to leave already. Who knew.

Anyway, I'm very glad to see that you and Russ apparently enjoyed the sights far more than my boys!!!

Susan~ Having the boys with us would have completely ruined the vacation for many reasons. :) The most enjoyable thing about Vegas was walking (*a lot*) and enjoying the sights. That wouldn't have been so fun with 3 little boys. I'm glad we went, and glad to edit the sights with my camera. :) There was so much to *not* appreciate as well...

Funny your boys didn't even appreciate the cool stuff! (Or probably not so funny for you.)
